Foreign Minister Dr. Nabil Al-Araby received, on April 17th, 2011, a delegation from the Egyptian-International Coalition for Lifting the Siege and Rebuilding Gaza, headed by the Coalition Coordinator, Mr. Ahmed Elassy, in order to facilitate the passage of essential stuff to Gaza Strip through Rafah crossing.
The Official Spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry Ambassador Menha Bakhoum stated that Dr. Al-Araby affirmed Egypt’s full readiness to play any role that would help deliver the humanitarian assistance and essential stuff to the brotherly Palestinians in Gaza. The Foreign Minister expressed Egypt’s political approval, to facilitate such stuff reach the Strip through Rafah crossing after presenting the issue to the Egyptian Prime Minister to take the essential and appropriate measures in this regard.
